Mild day across Colorado on Thursday, more snow coming this weekend

DENVER —Today will be dry with high clouds- temperatures in the 30s in the mountains and upper 40s to low 50s on the plains. Clouds will increase again ahead of the next storm system. A few light snow showers are possible above 10,000 feet with some of the increasing clouds.

Heavier snow will develop west of the Continental Divide on Friday. Highs will be in the 30s in the mountains and low to mid 40 on the plains.

A mix of light rain and snow will be possible in Denver on Saturday, mainly in the afternoon. Highs will be in the low 40s. Snow will increase in the mountains Saturday and continue into Sunday with 4 to 8 inches expected for the ski areas over the weekend!

Sunday will be cooler and there will be another chance of light snow along the Front Range. We'll see highs in the upper 30s to end the weekend.
