DENVER — Skies will be partly cloudy overnight with lows in the upper 20s to middle 30s for lower elevations and upper teens to middle 20s in the mountains.

It will be mostly sunny and quite a bit warmer for Tuesday with highs bouncing back to the mid-60s in the Denver area and in the upper 40s to low 50s in the mountains. Some high clouds will drift over the Front Range and the eastern plains, but in general, Tuesday will be a very pleasant day.

Clouds will increase on Wednesday, but temperatures will stay mild - in the lower 60s for Denver and the eastern plains and in the 40s to low 50s in the mountains.

A new storm system will approach Colorado Thursday with rain and snow developing in the mountains and a chance for showers in Denver during the afternoon. Temperatures will be a little cooler with 50s for Denver and the eastern plains and upper 30s to low 40s in the mountains.

Friday will be colder with a few inches of snow in the mountains and a mix of rain and snow for Denver and the I-25 Corridor. Highs will be in the lower 40s in Denver and in the 30s in the mountains.

Showers will end across the state on Saturday with drier and warmer weather returning for Sunday and Monday.
