DENVER — The recent heavy snow in the mountains has created extreme avalanche conditions over most of the high country in Colorado.

For Denver and northeastern Colorado, skies will remain partly cloudy for your Sunday. Highs will be in the 40s for the afternoon. We will have sporadic light snow in the mountains as well. Overnight lows for the next few nights will be in the 20s for Denver.
Mild weather will remain for Monday, with highs in the 50s to start the week! A strong storm will show up from Tuesday through Thursday that could bring heavy snow to the mountains again. We also have very good chance for a significant snow here for the plains and the Denver metro area. Stay tuned!
