Highs today were in the mid 50s across the plains- we expect a few light showers tonight. The mountains will see a light rain-snow mix tonight.

Friday will be a little warmer once again with some scattered afternoon showers and thunderstorms possible, mainly in the mountains. Highs will be back in the 60s in Denver, with low 70s over southeast Colorado. In the mountains, readings will be in the upper 40s to mid 50s.

The weather will turn a bit more unsettled Saturday with rain and snow showers for the mountains and scattered rain showers for the plains. Highs will be in the 50s to around 60 in the Denver area and in the 30s to mid 40s in the mountains.

A stronger and colder storm system will move into Colorado for Easter Sunday. Much colder temperatures can be expected with highs in the 30s. Snowfall in the mountains should be in the 5 to 10 inch range with 2 to 4 inches expected for Denver and the I-25 Corridor.

Cold weather will remain for early next week with more rain and snow possible Monday and Tuesday.
