DENVER — A change in the weather pattern will now bring cool and unsettled conditions to Colorado for the next few days. Temperatures will be much cooler, with highs in the 60s for Denver and the eastern plains, with 30s and 40s in the mountains this weekend.

A Frost Advisory has been issued for the metro area and the front range for temperatures near 32 degrees. Cover any plants that may be vulnerable.

Sunday will be better with partly cloudy skies and only a few showers. Expect highs in the middle 60s for lower elevations and 40s to near 50 in the mountains.

A stronger storm system will arrive Monday with more rain and much cooler temperatures. There will be accumulating snow in the mountains Monday and Tuesday and a chance for snow in the Denver area Tuesday morning! Highs will be in the upper 40s to low 50s.

The storm early next week will be a very soggy one with one to two inches of liquid expected over much of the state!

Stay tuned for updates on the changing weather.
