Temperatures will be chilly with lows in the single digits in the mountains and teens across the plains. Highs on Tuesday will only be in the mid-to upper 20s to low 30s for lower elevations and just in the low to mid-20s in the mountains. Snow showers will linger through much of the day, but accumulations will be minor.

Skies clear for Wednesday and temperatures rebound to the 40s.

The warming trend will continue for the rest of the workweek with highs in the 50s on Thursday and near 60 degrees in Denver on Friday.

A new storm system will bring snow to the mountains starting Friday night and continued through the weekend. Denver and the eastern plains will stay dry with a cooling trend.
