DENVER —  It was a nice and mostly sunny weekend across the metro-area. Highs both Saturday and Sunday climbed to the mid to upper 40s.

Through early Monday, skies will be clear across Colorado. Lows will dip to the upper teens to low 20s in town, with single digits and teens in the high country.

Monday and Tuesday will be warmer with highs returning to the low to mid-50s in Denver and in the 30s in the mountains.

Another storm system will spread some snow into the mountains, Tuesday into Wednesday and bring an increase in clouds and cooler temperatures to the plains.

Some light snow and colder weather is expected for Denver and the Front Range by Wednesday night into Thursday. Highs Thursday will be in the upper 30s to low 40s.

Mild and dry weather will return for next weekend.
