DENVER — It was a chilly Sunday across the metro. A cold front slipped south over northeastern Colorado, increasing our cloud coverage and keeping our high temperatures in the 60s this afternoon.

Tonight, lows cool to the upper 40s to near 50 degrees in Denver. Monday will be a warmer afternoon, with highs in the upper 70s under a partly to mostly cloudy sky.

There will be a few late day showers and isolated storms in the mountains on Monday afternoon, mainly south of i-70. In Denver, the weather should be mostly cloudy and mild for the Broncos game at 6:15 p.m. Temperatures will be in the mid 70s at kickoff and drop to the low 60s in the fourth quarter.

A storm system will move into Colorado Tuesday through Thursday, with clouds and showers Wednesday afternoon and Thursday morning.  This storm will actually be the remnants of Hurricane Rosa.

Friday and Saturday, another strong storm system is set to impact the region, moving down from the Pacific Northwest. Highs will be cooler, in the 60s across the Front Range and plains, with another chance for showers and storms.
