DENVER — A nice quiet weekend is on the way for Colorado, allowing us to dig out from the recent storm and enjoy the fine skiing in the high country!
Things are getting back to normal after the "Bomb Cyclone"! There are still scattered slick spots on the roads, but highways are back open and the dry, sunny weather bodes well for traveling over the next few days.
Cold temperatures will start the day across the state with lows in the teens on the plains and mostly single digits in the mountains.
Highs will reach the low 40s on Friday under a sunny sky. In the mountains, temperatures will be in the 30s.
Saturday and Sunday will be mostly sunny statewide with highs in the low 50s on the plains, and upper 30s to low 40s in the mountains.
A minor storm will bring a chance for a few inches of snow to the mountains next Tuesday, but just clouds for Denver and the eastern plains.
