DENVER — Mostly clear skies, cool temperatures and lighter winds will be the rule across Colorado tonight and early Wednesday.  Lows will be in the 20s for lower elevations and teens in the mountains.

Dry and pleasant weather with lighter winds will return for Wednesday.  High temperatures will rebound into the 60s for lower elevations and upper 40s to mid-50s in the mountains.

High clouds will gradually increase across the central Rockies Wednesday afternoon and evening ahead of the next storm system.

Another cold front will approach Colorado on Thursday.  Winds will increase in advance of the front, but temperatures will be mild - still around 60 degrees.

The front will move across the state early Friday with 3 to 6 inches of snow for the mountains and rain changing to light snow for Denver and the eastern plains.

The weather for Opening Day for the Rockies on Friday will be FOUL - cold with a chance for rain and snow with temperatures in the mid 30s to around 40 degrees.

Saturday will be much better with sunny skies and highs near 60 for Denver.
