DENVER — Another cold front will approach Colorado on Thursday.  Winds will increase in advance of the front, but temperatures will be mild - still between 60 to 65 degrees for highs in Denver.

This cold front will move across the state early Friday with 6 to 12 inches of snow for the mountains and rain changing to light snow for Denver and the eastern plains.  Snow will be light on the eastern plains, but a few spots may pick up an inch or two on grassy surfaces.

The weather for Opening Day for the Rockies on Friday will be FOUL - cold with a chance for rain and snow with temperatures in the mid 30s to around 40 degrees. Be sure to bundle up if you're heading to the game!

Saturday will be much better with sunny skies and highs near 60 for Denver.  Another weak storm will bring snow to the mountains on Sunday and a chance for showers on the plains.
