Hot and dry for Labor Day in Denver

DENVER — A few thunderstorms will be possible through mid-evening. Temperatures will be warm, but not too hot. Evening readings will be in the 70s.

Skies will clear overnight with lows in the upper 50s to low 60s for the plains and 40s to low 50s in the mountains.

Scattered thunderstorms can be expected again on Saturday, especially over the eastern plains. Highs will be in the upper 80s to near 90 degrees in the Denver area. In the mountains, isolated storms will be possible with highs in the 70s to low 80s.

Sunday and Labor Day Monday will be hot and dry, with mid to upper 90s in store for the Denver area! Stay cool by the pool, or head to the high country where temperatures will be in the upper 70s to mid 80s.

After Monday, temperatures will cool off a little with highs in the 70s in the mountains and 80s on the plains.
