Temperatures will top out in the mid 80s before showers and potentially strong storms move across the Denver metro area starting around 5 p.m. There is a chance for moderate to heavy rain as well as gusty, damaging winds. The storm threat remains through the evening hours.

For the start of the work week, showers and storms are possible through Monday morning. The pattern of seeing mostly sunny mornings and afternoon storms will linger for both Sunday and Monday.
