Chance for rain and snow across Colorado this week

DENVER — Highs climbed to the low 70s for the Front Range on Monday. Clouds will increase tonight into Tuesday, with scattered showers in the mountains and foothills.

Overnight, lows cool to the low 40s across the Denver metro-area. Tuesday, skies will be mostly cloudy and temperatures will be cooler, with highs in the low 60s.

The chances for rain increase late in the afternoon through Tuesday night. We will also have light snow in the mountains with this storm system through Wednesday. Accumulating snow levels are expected to be above 10,000 feet.

Skies clear across the state for Thursday. Through the end of the week, highs will be in the low to mid 60s, which is normal for this time of year.
