DENVER — A storm system will spread snow over the northeast quarter of Colorado through early Thursday with 3 to 6 inches possible near the Kansas/Nebraska border. This storm will bring several inches of snow to Wyoming, but only flurries for Denver and the I-25 Corridor.
A winter weather advisory has been issued for parts of northeastern Colorado, as well as western Nebraska and Kansas. Denver and the metro area will be on the western edge of this snow with only flurries tonight into early tomorrow morning.
Thursday will be the coldest day of the week. We'll see some afternoon sunshine, but highs will only climb into the upper 30s to low 40s during the afternoon.
Skies will be clear on Friday with highs in the middle 40s . Saturday will be with highs in the low to mid- 50s for Denver and the Front Range and in the 30s to low 40s in the mountains.
Another cold front will arrive Saturday night and early Sunday with colder temperatures and a chance for snow for the mountains and the eastern plains - including Denver.
