DENVER — A very strong and cold storm is impacting Colorado with widespread snow and very cold temperatures.

It looks like this storm could bring 6 to 12 inches of snow to the fire areas Sunday and Monday, 5 to 10 inches for the Front Range, and 3-6 for the eastern plains.

A Winter Storm Warning is in effect for the entire Front Range through Monday morning. Temperatures will be in the teens for the rest of Sunday through the 4th quarter of the Broncos game (with the wind chill factor well below zero)!

Temperatures will drop into the single digits by Monday and Tuesday mornings! Be prepared. Expect that wind chill to stay below zero through Tuesday morning as well.

Snow gradually tapers off Monday across the state and skies clear early Tuesday. Highs will be chilly, in the 30s, Tuesday. Expect a gradual warm-up, with highs in the upper 40s in Denver Wednesday, then sunny and milder days through Halloween on Saturday, with highs in the low 60s.
