DENVER — Overnight lows will be in the 60s tonight after highs in the mid-90s on Saturday. We were just 3 degrees away from a record high in Denver.

On Sunday we will have chance for rain in the metro area for the afternoon and evening with highs in the upper 80s and low 90s.

Highs in the mountains will be in the upper 70s to mid-80s on Sunday. Storms are expected to be widely scattered. The main threat will be gusty winds and pockets of moderate rainfall.

The threat of severe weather is low.

Next week, especially on Monday you will notice cooler air settling in. Highs will struggle to get to 80 degrees for the afternoon and we could be dealing with fog, low clouds and drizzle in the late morning.

More sunshine by mid-week with highs staying in the 80s.
