Sunny skies will start Tuesday, followed by increasing clouds and scattered thunderstorms in the afternoon.

In Denver and across the eastern plains, it will be a touch cooler Wednesday and Thursday, with highs in the low to mid-80s. Thunderstorm chances will be higher, thanks to an increase in humidity. Locally heavy rainfall and flash flooding will be the main concern.
