A person was hit in the northbound lanes of I-25 on Sunday evening, leading to a traffic backup that didn't clear for hours.
Denver Police say I-25 NB was shut down at 20th Ave. for the collision. It happened just after 5:30 p.m.
The investigation severely impacted Broncos traffic. The northbound lanes were closed between the Speer and 38th exits.

Denver Police say this is a deadly crash.
The interstate reopened around 9 p.m. but traffic cleared shortly before. Drivers were diverted to U.S. 6, I-225 and C-470.
No word if any charges will be filed.
I don't know how to get to my destination other then i25 so I guess I'll just sit here ?
