DENVER -- Drivers were told to find alternate routes if driving southbound on I-25 Saturday morning after it was shut down at Colorado Boulevard due to police investigation.
Police tweeted officers were at the scene of a medical response on the highway at around 8:38 a.m.

One person was taken to a hospital.
All southbound lanes at I-25 and Colorado were back open at around 9:39 a.m., but traffic was still moving slowly for some drivers.
