Rain, standing water blamed for multiple crashes

Rain and standing water are being blamed for multiple crashes early Friday morning.

A rollover crash blocked part of southbound Interstate 25 Friday morning. The crash happened around 4:15 a.m. near the Hampden bridge. When Denver7 arrived, we found a pick-up truck on its passenger side.

Around 3:15 a.m. two cars crashed head-on at Peoria and Yale in Aurora. Police did not release the conditions of the victims.

Around 3 a.m., three cars crashed at Monroe and Evans in the University Park neighborhood in Denver. Several people were taken to the hospital, Denver7 reported.
