An accident involving nine vehicles closed the southbound lanes of I-25 at County Line/Palmer Divide Road late Monday.
At least one person was transported from the crash scene to Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs, according to Trooper Josh Lewis with the Colorado State Patrol.
Investigators were looking into what triggered the crash which closed the interstate from around 3:15 p.m. until almost 5:30 p.m.
CSP said traffic moved slowly for a while. All lanes had been closed.
