When the Daniels family of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, visited a children’s museum in South Dakota, they came away with a picture-perfect snapshot of their kids that went viral. The museum had a fishing pond, and Levi, 4, Logan, 3, and 18-month old Landon all proudly posed with rubber toy fish for the camera.

While Levi and Logan held up their fish and had big grins on their faces, little Landon opted to put his “catch” in his mouth for the silly snapshot. Their mom, Marika Daniels, posted the photo to Facebook, and it soon caught the attention of folks on the Internet. People turned it into a meme along with the caption, “Every family has that one kid.”

According to Daniels, the meme has more than 500,000 shares on Facebook and has been shared by people living as far away as India and Australia. She’s been documenting its progress on her social media.

Check out the cheeky photo below:

Too funny!

As noted in the post, she is hoping the image gets the attention of Ellen DeGeneres. While that doesn’t seem to have happened yet, the family is still getting plenty of press.

“When I took the picture, I honestly didn’t realize Landon put the fish in his mouth because I was trying to get the attention of the two older ones to look at my camera,” Daniels told Fox 4.

Here’s an image of the Daniels family without fish, from their Facebook page on July 4:

While Daniels never expected the sweet family photo to garner so much attention, she’s glad that her child has provided so many laughs and smiles for strangers everywhere.

“When I saw it I was like, ‘Ugh, Landon,'” Daniels told “Good Morning America” of when she realized what her son had done in the photo. “He’s just at that age where he puts everything in his mouth. They are rubber fish. They’re not real fish. After I saw that picture, I said, ‘Oh my gosh, this is actually kind of funny’ — and apparently everyone else thought so too.”

I guess so! What a great memory and story the family will have for years to come, even if it doesn’t make “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.” We’re betting little Landon will become an expert fisherman someday! Or maybe class clown.
