Hundreds of companies from 25 states and Canada have taken over the Colorado Convention Center for the Colorado Garden and Home Show.
It is 400,000 square feet of everything for your garden and home. From bird feeders to fountains and everything in between, the 57th Annual Colorado Home and Garden Show hosts hundreds of companies and thousands of products.
There are 652 companies, about 550 of them local, all of them wanting you to buy.
But how can you cut through the clutter and make sure you are getting a good deal? Smart shoppers say go online and read reviews. The Better Business Bureau says 'Yelp' is a good place to start.
“People used to come down to the show and meet the company,” said Jim Fricke, executive director of the Colorado Garden Foundation. “Now we have a lot of people doing research before they come down to the show online.
More than 250 companies featured at the show are accredited with the BBB.
Homeowner Janell Jones is renovating her home and say she feels better meeting her contractors face-to-face.
“And then you can kind of get the one on one with them and they'll come out to your home and I know who's coming,” Jones said.
The show continues through Sunday, February 21. Click herefor hours and information.
