After creating marshmallows filled with chocolate last year — and immediately leveling up everyone’s s’mores game — Stuffed Puffs is at it again, this time with a new seasonal marshmallow flavor.
Available in national retail stores like Walmart, CVS and Kroger beginning in November, Stuffed Puffs Chocolate Peppermint Bark are decadent cocoa marshmallows stuffed with pink peppermint and a white chocolate flavor.
While the marshmallows were made especially for hot cocoa, you can use them for just about anything, including eating them as a snack or baking them into a treat. If you do want to use them for hot chocolate, Stuffed Puffs suggests skipping the cocoa mix and simply stirring the marshmallows into warm milk (or coffee) for an easy two-ingredient hot chocolate.
Looking for more peppermint goodies to get you excited for the winter season? Just like pumpkin spice in the fall, there are plenty of wintry peppermint treats that are already hitting store shelves.
Starting with breakfast, Kellogg’s new Elf on the Shelf Vanilla Candy Cane Cookie cereal combines a sweet vanilla flavor with a touch of peppermint and marshmallows.
For those who enjoy a coffee-and-mint combo, Starbucks Peppermint Mocha flavored coffee will be returning to stores soon for a limited time. You’ll also find a dark chocolate peppermint mocha creamer from Silk made with almond milk if you want to just add a hint of peppermint to your coffee.
If you’re already thinking about dessert, Nestlé Toll House Peppermint Filled Baking Truffles are back and Häagen-Dazs Peppermint Bark ice cream has also officially returned to stores nationwide.
Made with white chocolate ice cream, Häagen-Dazs then blends it with chocolate peppermint bark and peppermint candy pieces. For an extra dose of chocolate, you can also get the peppermint bark ice cream in bar form, with white chocolate ice cream dipped in dark chocolate and sprinkled with peppermint candy pieces.
