Please note that Civic Center Park will be closed from 11 p.m. on Monday until 5 a.m. on Tuesday. Spectators are reminded that as with any event of this size, they are asked to NOT bring folding chairs or any seating devices.

Cisneros, who works a block a way from Civic Center Park, says she doesn't have a problem with that.

"No, it's going to be too crowded," she said, "too much celebrating, too many people.  Happiness!"

Carla Esquibel-Melendez said she too will be at the parade and rally.

"I took the day off," she said. "I'm taking my son to the parade."

Items such as backpacks and large bags are also discouraged as these are subject to inspection by safety officials. Alcohol and marijuana are prohibited.

"Essentially," said Denver Marketing Director Jenny Schiavone, "think of it as you would in terms of what you would bring to a football game if you were going to Sports Authority Field.

Fans and the general public should anticipate street closures around the parade route, Civic Center Park, and the City and County Building beginning early morning on Tuesday, February 9.

"Plan ahead and be patient," said Denver Police Department spokesman Doug Schepman. "This is going to be a large event with people downtown, with road closures, so we encourage people to be patient with one another and focus on having a good time."

Spectators are encouraged to arrive early and use light rail and or other forms of public transportation.

Many bus routes will have detours in the downtown area tomorrow during the Broncos parade between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Find more information here: rtd-denver.com

The parade will also impact light rail service downtown from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Find more information here: rtd-denver.com

Downtown Denver parking will be very limited due to event-related street closures.

Portable toilets will be on site and available to the public.
