Seventeen months after Bud Light took over Crested Butte for a weekend party, Coloradans in San Francisco for the Super Bowl may see Bud Light has taken over a hotel and Union Square.
While the Union Square party from 5 p.m. Friday through 3 p.m. on Super Bowl is open to the public, the hotel is party headquarters only for invited guests. However, we got inside for a sneak peek.
On the first floor, we found several typewriters with weird symbols on the keys.
Turns out, if you get a card with special letters, you type the letters on the keyboard and you'll get a message that you can exchange at the bar for a free Bud Light.
Speaking of beer, here's the display of special Super 50 Bud Light bottles going up in the bar.
And have you ever spotted the Bud Light podium in the Bud Light ads? There's a place for invited guests to take their picture at that podium.
While we can tell where the Bud Light Hotel is, 495 Geary Street, you'll only be able to take pictures outside unless you can figure out a way to sneak in with an invited guest.
Otherwise, head for Union Square for the Bud Light public party with beer and something unexpected -- 32 types of grilled cheese sandwiches.
Admission is free, but you will pay for food and drinks.
