Rocky the Leprechaun is a veteran Super Bowler and Denver Broncos aficionado.
Members of Broncos Country – stationed all over the country – have already accepted Rocky as one of their own in San Francisco.
“Everybody’s been taking (me) picture, just like in Denver,” he told Denver7 on Monday.
Everyone knows a Leprechaun is hard to catch. Those who are quick enough and in the right place at the right time are guaranteed good luck, riches, mischief and assured entertainment. Since 1983, all this and more come from catching a glimpse of Rocky the Colorado Leprechaun.
In case you didn't know, Rocky says he's the official leprechaun for Coors Killians and Busmills Irish Whiskey, and he calls himself the Broncos super fan cheerleader.
Rocky met up with the Broncos Bay Area fan club, made of more than 600 members, as soon as he arrived in California this weekend. He told Denver7 the best places for Broncos fans to go, if not the game:
In Santa Clara, Broncos fans will gather at Bennigan’s this week. The bar and restaurant is on Great American Parkway and just minutes from the Broncos hotel, Santa Clara Marriott.
In San Francisco, Broncos fan headquarters will be at San Francisco Athletic Club on Divisadero Street.
The fan club often hosts meetups at Rocky Bottom Brewery on S. Bascom Avenue and Nickies on Haight Street.
