One of every four students in Denver Public Schools missed class on the day of the Broncos Super Bowl parade and rally.
DPS told Denver7 that 24,152 students missed one or more classes on Tuesday. However, that's is 10,314 more than were absent on Wednesday of last week, and 9,268 more than were gone Monday, according to DPS spokesman Will Jones.
There are 90,000 students in Denver Pubic Schools.
It's estimated that more than 1 million people lined the roads and packed into Civic Center Park for the celebration.
