DENVER – The Colorado Rockies will start the 60-game 2020 season on the road against the Texas Rangers on Friday, July 24, according to a schedule released Monday by Major League Baseball.

The Rockies will play all their games against teams from the National League West (40 games) and the American League West (20 games). The team’s home opener is set for Friday, July 31 against the San Diego Padres. The team will have just one day off in all of August.

All 60 of the games will be broadcast on AT&T SportsNet, and the Aug. 31 game will be broadcast on ESPN.

“The Rockies’ hope is to allow a limited number of fans to attend 2020 home games at Coors Field, and to that end, we have been working with city and state health officials, as well as Major League Baseball, to finalize a plan that adheres to strict health protocols and ensures fan safety,” the team said in a statement regarding in-person attendance at any of the home games in Denver.
