Three of Colorado's finest took part in the 2015 Mascot Stampede at Steamboat Resort.
College mascots from around the country were in Steamboat for some friendly rivalry over the weekend. Chip from CU and Cam the Ram from CSU joined 18 others; 16 NCAA schools were represented. Miles took a break from his Broncos duties to judge the tug-o-war contest and even shred some powder himself.

The mascots competed in snow bowling, or floating down the snow on an inner tube and crashing into bowling pins, an obstacle challenge and skiing.
Sadly, Chip and Cam didn't place this year. In third was USC's Tommy Trojan, in second was VCU's Rodney the Ram and Nevada's Wolfie Jr. left as champion after a packed weekend.
The purpose of the competition is to offer fans an opportunity to meet the mascots and give them an event to look forward to early in the ski season. Mascots can also learn new ways to rile up the crowds at home.
It's official. 3rd - USC Tommy Trojan, 2nd - VCU Rodney the Ram and the Champ Nevada Wolfie Jr! #MascotStampede
