COMMERCE CITY, Colo. — The Colorado Rapids will play a friendly match against Arsenal in Colorado this summer.
The two soccer clubs will face off at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park on July 15 at 7 p.m.
The match is the first of four preseason matches London-based Arsenal will be playing in the United States and it’s the first time the Gunners will play in Colorado.
“We are excited to be hosting one of Europe’s most iconic teams in Arsenal,” said Rapids Executive Vice President and General Manager Pádraig Smith. “They are one of the top clubs in the world and we’re looking forward to testing ourselves against them on the field and providing sports fans in Colorado with the opportunity to be part of this outstanding matchup.”
The general public can buy tickets for the match starting on Tuesday, April 16 at 10 a.m. Seats are available now for season ticket holders.
