ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- Von Miller walked into the locker room with a brace on his left knee Friday. With the season teetering, this is the last thing Broncos fans wanted to hear. Miller will play Sunday against the Texans, making no excuses after dealing with an ankle injury suffered at practice two weeks ago and now knee pain.

I asked Miller in the locker room on Friday about his knee. Specifically, when did he hurt it?

"I don't know. I really don't," Miller told Denver7. "It's just playing in the league for eight years. You wake up, and you are sore. But I will be 100 (percent) after the bye week (following the Houston game)."

Miller, who could play with the knee brace on, has not missed a game since 2013 when he tore the ACL in his right knee. He has started 72 straight, developing into one of the league's finest players. This season Miller owns eight sacks, tied for second and two shy of league leader Aaron Donald of the Rams. Miller and Bradley Chubb pace the league in sacks by a duo with 15.

"I will be out there," said Miller, recognizing the stakes.
