Despite being injured, Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethisberger is expected to start Sunday against the Denver Broncos, a source told ESPN's Sal Paolantonio.

Roethlisberger was injured in the Steelers-Bengals game last Saturday when he was sacked in the 4th quarter by Vontaze Burfict. Roethlisberger left the game, but managed to come back in at the end and lead the Steelers on a game-winning drive.

Roethlisberger suffered an AC joint sprain and tore ligaments in his shoulder.

However, while he was limited in practice on Wednesday and Thursday he was listed as a full participant Friday.

Roethlisberger is officially listed as questionable. He will be evaluated by medical staff on Sunday morning, the source told Paolantonio.

Broncos head coach Gary Kubiak expects Roethlisberger to start.

"He's had tremendous year," Kubiak said. "He's a super player, as gutty as there is in our business. And you know he's going to be ready to go and be able to do all the things he needs to do to win."
