To Broncos fans, Omaha may be more well-known as a play call than as a city, thanks to quarterback Peyton Manning.
There has been endless speculation about what Manning means when he shouts "Omaha!"
Former Colts receiver Reggie Wayne says he knows. Well, he used to know.
Wayne said that when he played with Manning, it meant he was going to flip the play to the other side.
"'Omaha' means he's going the other way," Wayne said on NFL GameDay Morning on Sunday. "If it's dive right, 'Omaha' is gonna be dive left."
However, Wayne insisted the meaning of the audible has changed.
"I can promise you this," Wayne said. "'Omaha' is not going mean the same thing today."
