If the Denver Broncos win the AFC Championship this Sunday, quarterback Peyton Manning could get a big payday.

Manning signed a 5-year, $96-million dollar contract with the Denver Broncos in 2012.

Last year, Manning agreed to take a $4 million pay cut for this season, but ESPN reported that Manning was given a chance to recoup the difference in team-based incentives -- $2 million if the Broncos win the AFC championship and another $2 million if they win the Super Bowl. reported that Manning has to play at least 70 percent of the offense snaps to collect.

Players typically earn their salaries from their team during the 17 week regular season. They're paid for the playoffs by the NFL. reported that Manning and all of his teammates were paid $25,000 for playing in the division round game last Sunday. They'll earn $46,000 each for playing this Sunday in the conference championship.

For Super Bowl players, the salary is based on whether you win or lose. $51,000 for each player on the losing team and $102,000 for each player on the winning team.
