The Denver Broncos have signed safety Shiloh Keo.

Keo was drafted in 2011 by now-Broncos head coach Gary Kubiak when Kubiak was the head coach of the Houston Texans. Broncos defensive coordinator Wade Phillips was the Texans' defensive coordinator at the time.

Keo played for the Texans for three years. Keo spent the 2015 preseason with the Cincinnati Bengals before being waived on September 5.

The Broncos said in 42 career regular-season games, Keo totaled 64 tackles (52 solo), two interceptions (5 yds.) and seven passes defensed. He also contributed eight tackles (3 solo) in four postseason contests (1 start) for Houston. A former special-teams team captain for the Texans, Keo owns 18 career tackles on those units.

He will wear jersey No. 33 for the Broncos.
