The Denver Broncos have a new left tackle.

The team signed free agent Russell Okung from the Seahawks Thursday.  Okung gets a one-year, $5-million contract with $3-million in incentives. The Broncos have an option to pick up an additional 4-years on the deal worth $48-million.

Okung was considered the top left tackle to hit free agency this offseason and had visited the visited the Detroit Lions, the New York Giants and the Pittsburgh Steelers before signing with the Broncos.

He was a former first-round pick for the Seahawks in 2010 and made the Pro Bowl in 2012.

“Honestly, it’s a great organization and I think there are only a few top organizations in the NFL," Okung said. "Denver is obviously one those. The class and integrity, it goes with the organization and speaks volumes. I wanted to be a part of a place that did that.”

The Broncos may try to trade left tackle Ryan Clady or release him. They had reportedly asked him to take a pay cut. He was due to make $9.5 million this year.

This means the Broncos will have four new starters on the offensive line this season.
