Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning says the fans can definitely help the team Sunday.
"There’s no question that we’re going to need them in a big way on Sunday to keep us going and, hopefully, disrupt who we’re playing," Manning said.
Manning said he's glad the AFC Championship will be a home game.
"I’m excited to be playing in front of our fans on Sunday," Manning said.
As Manning gets ready to play in what may be his final AFC Championship game, he knows it's a unique opportunity.
"This is a special opportunity, a unique opportunity," Manning said.
Manning said he enjoyed the practices last week.
"That’s what Coach [Kubiak] encouraged us to do early in the week and I’m doing that," Manning said. "I think that our whole team is doing that as well. I think that’s a good thing."
The Broncos play the Patriots at 1:05 MT.
