Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning is getting a big pay check for winning the AFC Championship game Sunday and he'll get the bonus again if the Broncos win the Super Bowl.

Manning signed a 5-year, $96-million dollar contract with the Denver Broncos in 2012.

Last year, Manning agreed to take a $4 million pay cut for this season, but ESPN reported that Manning was given a chance to recoup the difference in team-based incentives -- $2 million for the Broncos winning the AFC championship and another $2 million if they win the Super Bowl. reported that Manning has to play at least 70 percent of the offense snaps to collect.

Players typically earn their salaries from their team during the 17 week regular season. They're paid for the playoffs by the NFL. reported that Manning and all of his teammates were paid $25,000 for playing in the division round game last Sunday and $46,000 each for playing in the conference championship.

For the Super Bowl in two weeks, the salary is based on whether the Broncos win or lose. The players on the losing team earn $51,000, while the players on the winning team earn $102,000 each.
