Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning is working out and throwing again.
Broncos head coach Gary Kubiak announced Wednesday that Manning worked out briefly on Wednesday morning, then threw for a half hour.
Kubiak said the Broncos are taking it day-by-day.
Manning is dealing with a rib injury and a plantar fascia tear in his foot. He's missed three games.
Kubiak said Vernon Davis and Danny Trevathan both doing well as they go through the NFL's concussion protocol.
"It's extensive," Kubiak said when talking about the number of Broncos' players who are dealing with injuries.
Manning will not start this Sunday against the Oakland Raiders. Kubiak has already announced that Brock Osweiler will get his fourth start Sunday. However, Kubiak has not made any announcement about the quarterback situation after that.
