Broncos play Chiefs on Thursday Night Football

Posted

Just four days after beating the Baltimore Ravens, the Denver Broncos will be back on the field tonight playing the Chiefs in Kansas City.

Both the Broncos and the Chiefs are 1-0. However, the Broncos are coming off a victory where the offense didn't score a single touchdown.

The Broncos reinstated cornerback TJ Ward to the roster this week. Ward was suspended by the NFL for a single game for violating the NFL’s personal conduct policy.

The Broncos injury report Wednesday listed ten players -- quarterback Peyton Manning (back), running back CJ Anderson (ankle/toe), safety Omar Bolden (foot), safety Darian Stewart (groin), defensive end Kenny Anunike (knee), defensive end Malik Jackson (head), safety David Bruton (hip), outside linebacker Brandon Marshall (foot), outside linebacker Lerentee McCray (groin) and wide receiver Demaryius Thomas (hand).

The Broncos said Anunike was out and Bolden was doubtful for Thursday night's game, while Anderson, Stewart and Jackson were questionable.

Manning and the other four Broncos were listed as probable.

The Broncos said the team has won its last 12 divisional road games. However, the Broncos are 18-24 overall against the Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium.
