The Broncos have arrived in California for Super Bowl 50.

Peyton and the rest of the team left the UC Health Training Center just before 1 p.m. Sunday and headed to DIA.

A handful of United Airlines employees cheered on the tarmac as the team busses arrived at the airport. One fan in particular stood out. In proper gear, Todd McKernan carried on his father's tradition of dressing as Barrel Man.

"When he started doing it I was 17, and when he stopped I had a 3-year-old grandson," he told Denver7.

Tim McKernon was a super fan and a staple at every game. He died in 2009 after decades in the barrel.

"I've been going to games with my dad since '67 and I miss him terribly. And it's like being with him again."

The team also dressed for the occasion. They looked dapper in their suits. The Broncos took a few photos before getting on the plane, which took off around 1:45 p.m.
