Denver Broncos cornerback Aqib Talib has been named AFC Defensive Player of the Week.
Talib had three tackles (2 solo), two passes defended and he returned an interception 51 yards for a touchdown in Denver’s 19-13 win against the Ravens Sunday.
Talib's intersection was the seventh "pick-six" of his career, according to the Broncos.
“It was a premium look for us," Talib said after the game. "I checked the situation. I saw the look. He threw it right to me.”
Talib has been honored as the AFC Defensive Player of the Week three times, the Broncos said. It's the second time he's been honored as a Broncos player.
