Following a 27-20 win in the Broncos' last regular season game, Coach Kubiak said it was a gut feeling that made him put Manning in the game. Read what they had to say:

Kubiak post-game:

"Sometimes the team is looking around for that guy or that tremendous leadership type stuff and that's what I felt."

"I don't think Brock did anything wrong. We had some turnovers. A couple of them he had nothing to do with. We could have helped him a lot. But, just my gut told me to turn it over to (Peyton) and let him lead the football team. Just very proud of him."

"We're going to enjoy winning tonight. Give the guys a break... We're going to get back to work on Thursday morning but I'll sit down with both those guys. It took everybody on our team to get to this point. It's going to take everybody we have the rest of the way," on who will start the next game. "We'll do what's best for the football team."

"I just think we continue to find a way, to try to find a way of what it takes to be successful."

Manning post-game:

"Strange first-half. Tipped balls. I've been there, I've been there."

"Obviously it was an important game when you're playing a team who has nothing to lose. I've played a lot of those games before. Those are scary games."

"Coach Kubiak said, 'If we need you can we put you in there?' I said, 'Yeah, I haven't played in six weeks but I think I can go in there and do something.'"

"But I think when I was in there, we ran the ball better, we held the ball, caught the ball better, and that's just kind of how it worked out."

"These fans were great. They were cheering me. Cheering loud, but I'm pretty sure everybody was in their same seats booing my butt off against Kansas City back about six weeks ago."

Do you feel you're the starting quarterback? "I don't know. We got two weeks before we play again. I got to see how I feel tomorrow."

"(My foot) held up okay. I didn't have to move a ton. Tried to throw the ball on time... I've been patient. I've worked hard in rehab... "

"I can't take credit for having a really good hand-off... I refuse to do that."

"I really don't think Brock was having any troubles. He made some good throws... I thought he was seeing well. I thought he was playing well. Just had some really bad breaks.

Osweiler post-game:

"To come out in the second half and as a team, get a huge home win, you know, win the AFC West, you know, that's what it's all about."

"I'm so happy to be a part of this team and it's a huge team win."

"Coach Kubiak came over to me right after that first series in the third quarter and just told me, "Hey, we're going to go with Peyton now. You played well for us, but we're going to try to get a little spark."

"Coach always preaches it takes all 46 guys on game-day. Today that was truly the case."

"It was a not. That was not a conversation but usually that's not a conversation. Usually you don't talk to the backup and say, "You might be going in today,' so that was not a conversation that took place," on whether Kubiak told him during the week that Peyton might play this week.

But usually Peyton Manning's not a back-up? "Next question."

"We'll look at the tape. We'll clean it up. We'll learn from it, and we'll move forward," on the first-half turnovers.
