Is this Broncos' quarterback Peyton Manning's last season?

Manning hasn't made any public announcement.

However, after Sunday's AFC Championship victory, Manning embraced New England Patriots' head coach Bill Belichick and said something unexpected.

"Hey listen, this might be my last rodeo, so it sure has been a pleasure," Manning said.

Belichick answered, "You're a great competitor."

"Thank you, thank you very much," Manning said.

See the exchange on NFL.com.

Manning spent several weeks on the sidelines after a foot injury this season.

Manning's dad, former pro football player Archie Manning, said last August, before the season started, that his son is a  realist.

"I know this, he would like to get everything he can get out of this year, and see what happens," Archie Manning said.
