CENTENNIAL, Colo. -- Form follows function and colors follow emotions. As such, it is a ripe coincidence that the finally victorious Broncos will suit up Thursday night in uniforms so bright it will make hunters blush.

Their confidence and smiles are back. And yet....

In a locker room of 63 players, the retina-burning orange jerseys and pants bring mixed reviews. Color me not surprised.

"Pumpkin. I will look like a pumpkin," running back C.J. Anderson said, referring to his squatty build. "I will be a pumpkin trying to have a Cinderella night."

Quarterback Trevor Siemian appeared to have eaten marbles when asked about his take on the unis. Orange is not the new black for him. At least not this shade.

"I don't know. I am not crazy about them," said Siemian, looking for his first road victory since Nov. 13 at New Orleans. "I think we look like human traffic cones out there."

Will Parks was having none of it. The neon works for him, admittedly in part because he played well in the uniform last year against San Diego.

"All that orange with the cleats. That's a lot of swagger," Parks said. "I think we have the best color rush uniforms."

Or as Von Miller put it, "Some of the other teams color rush colors don't look as dope as ours."

Tank for Picks? Nah...

Von Miller loves Broncos fans. He appreciates them. But he's not buying the logic that losing out would be the best thing for Denver to help the team draft, well, another Von Miller. "Wait a minute now. So just two weeks ago everybody is like, 'We need to win a game.'  Now we win a game and everybody is like, 'You need to lose out.' I don’t know man. The object of the game is to win. (General manager John) Elway is going to do a great job drafting like he does every year. I stick to sacking quarterbacks, not picking quarterbacks."

Domata Peko (left knee) is expected to return Thursday after missing the past two games. ... Justin Simmons might not play because of ankle injury. ... Right guard Ron Leary landed on the IR. He told Denver7 his back issue will not require surgery.
