The wife of Denver Broncos owner Pat Bowlen accepted the AFC Championship Lamar Hunt Trophy Sunday and told the team to "Get it done for Pat" in Super Bowl 50.
Pat Bowlen gave up day-to-day control of the Broncos in July 2014 because he was suffering from the effects of Alzheimers disease.
"On behalf of my husband, Pat, and the Bowlen family, I want to congratulate John Elway, coach Kubiak, our players, and most importantly, the most incredible fans in the NFL," Annabel Bowlen said.
"[I am] so honored to accept the Lamar Hunter trophy and represent the AFC in Super Bowl 50," Bowlen added. "Let's get it done for Pat and Go Broncos!"
