KANSAS CITY, MO.  — The Broncos thought they were playing at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday. Turns out, they are in a snow globe. The conditions are ripe for Christmas cards, but will it be for an upset? Denver aims to break an eight-game losing streak against the Chiefs. The Broncos face daunting history, but boast hope because of the emergence of quarterback Drew Lock.

Follow live updates from Arrowhead Stadium:

Lock is attempting to become the first Broncos rookie to win his first three starts. He grew up 15 minutes away, attending Lee's Summit High School. Lock is no stranger to bad weather, but this game appears unique. Lock, seen above, warmed up in the snow, and spent some time chatting with Chiefs reigning MVP Patrick Mahomes. While it would be a goosebumps story if Lock starred again, look for the Broncos to try to establish the run with Phillip Lindsay and Royce Freeman.

The Chiefs rank near the bottom in rush defense. As they did in the first matchup. Yet, the Broncos managed 71 yards on the ground in an embarrassing 30-6 loss. Denver hasn't won in Kansas Cit since Sept. 2015 with Peyton Manning. Lindsay has posted one 100-yard game this season. Another one today could result in the Broncos' biggest win under Fangio.
