Here’s something that would make a great addition to the official “Oddly Satisfying” story on Snapchat — a video of someone breaking apart an ice-cold Double Pop Popsicle. It’s such a great feeling!
Superstar Justin Bieber would be the best person to make that video. On May 21, Bieber tweeted to @Popsicle complaining that he and his manager Scooter Braun could not find double-stick Popsicles anywhere. He asked Popsicle to bring them back.
What a travesty! We wonder what pushed the Biebs to crave the double-stick.
No matter the reason, we’re super happy he made the request because Popsicle has responded with a possible yes.

They then went on to tweet out some possibly exciting news for everyone, mentioning that they had a limited batch of Double Pops available, but that they’d consider “bring[ing] back the Double Pop fun for everyone” if followers would get them to 100,000 retweets:

We can also thank the brand for bringing the Fudgsicle, the Creamsicle and, another Popsicle favorite — Pop Ups:
According to Popsicle’s website, the first popsicle was invented by a child. Eleven-year-old Frank Epperson left a cup of soda with a stir stick on a front porch in San Francisco. It got very cold overnight and, in the morning, it was frozen.
He called it an “Epcicle.” Later in life, his own children began calling it the “Popcicle,” and it caught on. Epperson introduced the treat to the world at a fireman’s ball, and he patented it in the 1920s.
Popsicle acquired the patent from Epperson in 1929.
Epperson died in 1983, but his invention will forever be a frozen favorite.
So, what’s the most popular Popsicle flavor?
Cherry, according to Popsicle.
